Writing with Jaye was one of the best experiences of my life. When my mom signed me up for the class, I hated writing. I couldn't be bothered to write my name on my homework. Jaye showed me that writing is more than just putting words on a paper. Currently I have about 6 poems published in various newsletters under a pen name. I've written plays and short stories featured on local radio stations. I couldn't have done it without Jaye. Not only does she teach you about writing, but she shows you a new side of yourself. She taught me to love my work, and it doesn't have to be flawless to be perfect. Without Jaye I never would have gotten the confidence to post my work on an online site not under a pen name.
